In the late summer of 2020, the world was still in the midst of a pandemic. We knew winter was coming, and the need for quality foods still existed, if not exacerbated by the locked down.

We happened to hear about Community Refrigerators popping up across the country. We spent many months researching and speaking to other community leaders in surrounding cities. Once we had all the facts, we knew we had to bring this to Delaware.

In December of 2020, we opened up the FIRST Community Refrigerator in the State of Delaware, located at 2300 Bowers St, Wilmington DE. Today there are SIX Community Fridges in the State of Delaware.
